PRICE CHECKS & QUOTATION Requests: prices shown are for current inventory. Webpages get updated when costs change. Ken's saves you money with a $5 minimum merchandise order when submitted on our Secure Order It webpage!
With about 500 Emails and 100 phone calls per day--It doesn't make sense to spend 12 hours per day answering price inquiries for "under-$50-items!"
If you want to protect against spending lots of money--and don't see the price on Ken's webpages: submit your ORDER with a request: "please E-mail with price if this item is over $50." Most customers are comfortable with Ken's policy of shipping orders under $50 without price quotations!

STOCK CHECKS: KEN'S ELECTRONICS does not advertise stuff that is not regularly stocked--so if it is on Ken's website--there is a 98% probability that at least one is in stock for your repair needs. Ken's does not stock large quantities for manufacturers wanting obsolete production parts.

PAYMENT: Most customers pay with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express. We do not accept PayPal & we do not ship COD. Customers with no credit card should send a real order & explain that they plan to send US Cash or Money Order; We have to pack & weigh it; then Email the total to you; & set it aside to wait for payment.

SHIPPING CHARGES: P&H is $4.95 for USA Airmail and Priority Mail packages under 13 ounces.
Larger packages: FRB-1 (8-1/2x11x5-1/2") takes $8.95 USA Priority Mail Postage.
FRB-2 (11-1/2x13-1/2x3") takes $8.95 USA Priority Mail Postage.
LARGE-FRB box (12x12x5-3/4") takes $12.95 USA Priority Mail Postage.
EXPRESS MAIL: P&H $25 for 9x12" Envelope Paks up to 8 ounces in the USA. 3-PM next day delivery to many US locations.
UPS and Fed Ex offer Same Day On Call AIR Pickup at our store when we have an order packed & ready for pickup before 12-Noon Eastern Time; Customer must provide Fed Ex or UPS account number (tell us which company?) in the comments area of our Secure Online Order Form. A $4.95 paperwork handling charge applies for shipping UPS or Fed Ex.
Canada: P&H is $4.95 for packages up to 12 ounces via airmail to Canada.
Other countries: P&H is $4.95 for packages up to 5 ounces First Class (air)Mail International to Europe, Japan, Australia, Central & South America and most other areas; a 12 ounce package can be sent "nearly anywhere" for about $10.

INSURANCE & Tracking: The US Postal Service DOES NOT provide Tracking Information or Insurance on packages picked up by our local mail carrier. P&H will be charged to re-send any package that gets returned to us because of incomplete & incorrect addresses. More than 95% of all packages that we send out are delivered to our customers within 10 days. LOST packages are EXTREMELY rare--but it takes 30-45 days for the postman to return undeliverable packages to us!
Do not send sample parts to us in envelopes --small parts in letter style envelopes ALWAYS get smashed or lost by automatic mail sorting equipment!

SHIPPING TIME: 90% of all ONLINE orders are filled within 2 working days. Telephone orders are delayed a few days (until we have time to type them into our computer). Orders with questions, photocopies, custom mic wiring or custom power cords, or parts to look up--like "a final for a ____----" get delayed a few days. In order to expedite shipments for all our customers--we do not send confirmations; we contact you only if there is a problem in filling your order.
95% of orders within the USA are delivered by the postman within 5 to 10 days; delivery to Non-USA destinations averages 7 to 30 days.
Order Status: Please DO NOT contact us about the status of your order unless you have been waiting more than 15 days and still haven't received your shipment.
If it has been more than 15 days--Use the OrderIt form to Email ALL details (do not phone) include your name, complete address including zip code, a COMPLETE list of what you ordered, how you placed your order, and how you paid for the merchandise?

PRIVACY POLICY: Ken's Electronics does not sell information about customers! Customer records in our ancient DOS computer cannot be accessed by hackers (it is not on-line)!

RETURN--EXCHANGE--REFUND: RETURNS should be within 30 days & in new-saleable condition in original package. No "Return Authorization" necessary when an exchange credit is desired--include receipt & explanation why item is being returned; P&H is not refundable. Please Email us for a Return Authorization if you are requesting a refund. 50% restocking fee for stock items returned in new-salable condition with request for refund after 30 days.
SPECIAL ORDER items are not refundable (exchange for same item only when defective).
We do not troubleshoot your unit for free; Soldered-in repair parts are not returnable for exchamge or refund. (you can pay a repairman for diagnostic expertise or buy inexpensive parts and YOU take ALL responsibility regarding the need for parts you order).

Ken's Electronics has reasonable prices on a great selection of accessories, repair parts, schematics & service information for CB Radios, Ham Radios, Police Scanner Radios, Cordless Telephones & Answering Machines. Ken's also stocks many parts that fit TV's, VCR's, Car & Home Stereos, Small Appliances, and controls for factory machinery; {we do not have any service information for those}.

Relevant information averages $5 to $15 for AM CB's; we count pages after we make copies to fill your order. (Complicated SSB CB & HAM RADIO manuals may cost $25 to $40). Product data sheets: Kens Electronics DOES NOT HAVE design or engineering data; The NTE Cross Reference Book contains brief specifications & pinout information about popular consumer electronic parts. Specifications for some parts may be obtained at original manufacturers websites.

CATALOG Ken's has not printed a paper catalog since 1977; there are no plans to print one in the near future--we are concentrating on adding stuff to our webpages. Please look at our index; you can make printouts to put in a notebook. Visit often--some webpages are updated every week.

REPAIRS: Customers wanting CB radio repairs should fill out the Customer Inquiry Form with the make/model of unit and repair work desired in the Comments Area. Your inquiry will be forwarded to a technician for a guesstimate & information about sending your unit to be fixed.
